It was way below freezing the day we left Utah and headed out towards Las Vegas and hopefully some warmer temperatures, we needed it real bad to thaw out our pipes. It was horrible just trying to connect the 5th wheel up to the truck, everything you touched was so cold. I was ready to be out of this place. The drive from Utah to Las Vegas was a lovely one I must admit, the scenery and the changing landscapes here are amazing. The mountains that follow you on your left are never to far away with breath taking views. We travelled through some gorges and I grabbed my camera and managed to snap a few pictures through my side window.

It was a really nice relaxing trip to Las Vegas,I could now feel the temperature changing. I could actually feel the suns rays. We finally made it to Las Vegas around 8pm that night, we went straight to the Nellis Air Force Fam Camp on the out skirts of Vegas and tried to unhook. No such luck, it didn't matter what we did it just wouldn't un hook. We were new at this so we decided we should ask the camp host for some help. He came out and was followed by a few others all ready to help. They couldn't do it either. As it was dark by now we decided to leave the truck hooked up to the 5th wheel and try again in the morning. Finally after about 3 hours of reversing and pulling forward they found that there was a bolt that was to tight, once that was fixed it slipped of the truck so easily.
After lunch we paid a visit to a few Casinos down the strip. I walked past a casino I remembered from years ago, It was the casino that Dann and I spent our honeymoon in courtesy of his children as our wedding present. Below is the picture.
Below a couple more Pictures taken down on the strip.Me telling Dann how to take the picture
Our time in Las Vegas was coming to a end, it was now time to hook up and head down to our home for the winter. Tucson, Arizona. I was still looking for warmer weather, it was ok in Las Vegas but we still needed to put on a cardigan of some sort.
